Blog Post # 6-

1. My favorite topic was earth history the age of geology. When we were able to learn the geologic time scale. I learned what era species came on Earth, because I was very clueless. no with this knowledge I know what era fishes came about

2. My favorite meteorology topic was when I learned about the different type of clouds. Although I did know the types of clouds I did not know what type of weather they bring. I think it is very interesting to know what type of clouds are in the sky, also I know when to go in side if I see a cumulonimbus cloud.

3. My favorite out all was astronomy, I loved when we talked about the solar system and the Sun. It was cool to know about other thing besides whats on Earth.

4. I think I did OK. I reviewed my test that was very similar but i forgot about maritime polar and continent tropical.

1. .Because the Big Bang theory expanded the universe wider from and a very small size.
2. I think you would instantly die, because we gravity would instantly stretch your body until you are unable to breathe and you would die.
3. I think wormholes are very unique because they take less time then a journey but you go into one it would be very scary because you would not no what is going on or where you are going.

Planet Quest (when you get to this site, click on "4 ways to find a planet" on the right side)
1. Radical velocity, astrometry, transit method, and optical detection.
2. Which way makes the most sense to you? The one that makes most sense to me is radical velocity, this they measure the slight change in the movement of a star. They measure the distance by using spectrum lines. This is how scientist calculate the distance and change over time.

3. Area of space when the distance from its home star so the surface is not too hot of too cold.
4. I don't think Gilese 581c is not that big, it would look like earth. i think this planet will be intelligent but that is what I think.
5. I do not believe in aliens. I think some one just made a story about aliens and it was passed down as a story tell through out the years. I say this because we don't have any pictures or proof of aliens. I aliens where real then I think they would have came and captured Earth years ago. The whole aliens thing is just what we put in stories and fairy tells.

BLOG POST# 1:

I have chose 5 topics Mars, the moon, dwarf planets, Pluto, and the search for aliens.



Mars is the fourth planet in the solar system. Mars is known as the Red planet because of its appearance,also it has gotten his name from the Roman god of war. Mars has not one moon but two Phobos and Deimos. Also Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere. This planet is also similar to Earth by its rotational period and seasonal cycles. Today we can see Mars and is seen as the Naked Eye.
The Moon on Earth is the largest Moon in the Solar system. The moon is very interesting to others also it has been visited multiple of times. The moon is the second brightest in the sky after the Sun. The moon has phases throughout the days of the week. The Moon has not been here for only year but since the prehistoric time.
Dwarf planets is one of characterization of planets. Some people call the planet Pluto a dwarf planet. When you hear dwarf planets they are planet that are not that big in size as the other eight planets in the solar system. It is known that there are about 40 dwarf planet in the solar system, and about 200 dwarf planet are found in the Kuiper Belt.
The planet Pluto is classified as a dwarf planet and some people don't classify this planet as a planet at all anymore. Pluto is the second largest dwarf planet in the solar system. Pluto is primarily made of rock and ice and relatively small. It has two small moons Nix and Hydra which was discovered in 2005. Pluto should be classified as a planet because it orbit the Sun just like the eight other planets.
To many Americans the search for aliens is a joke and to some Americans it is taken very seriously. Their are stories told about aliens in many stories. Usually when aliens are in movies or stories they are portrayed as they live in space which is the solar system, and they have come from spaceships. To me I don't think Aliens are real I think it is a joke but to me people they truly believe that aliens are real and the truth will be told one day.

1. My best blog post that I liked was blog post number 5. I love to be creative and add color to thing and it fun.

2. The topic I enjoy learning was cloud formation, because past the year I had no idea what clouds what were in the sky.

3. I deserve a better grade then I got because, this quarter when I tried it seems my grade is worst then last semester when I did not try.
